Use even light against a plain wall. Choose the original photo from your phone or camera without filters, portrait mode, or a tight crop.
- Leave space around your whole head, chin, hair, and the top of your shoulders.
- Look straight into the camera with your head upright and shoulders in view.
- Remove glasses and any headwear before taking the photo.
- Keep a relaxed expression without smiling or showing your teeth.
- Avoid shadows on your face or background, glare, and blur.

A few common questions.
Is this a Brazilian passport photo?
No. This service prepares the portrait upload for a Brazil electronic visitor visa application, not a Brazilian passport photo or another application document.
Why doesn’t Verid Photo use beauty filters?
Document photos should show how you look now. We prepare the size, crop, and background without smoothing skin, removing marks, reshaping features, changing your expression, or adding facial details.
Can I wear glasses or headgear in my Brazil eVisa photo?
The current VFS Brazil eVisa photo instructions say no spectacles and no headgear. Remove them before taking the photo.
What should I review in the preview?
Check that the photo looks like you, your whole head and chin remain visible, and you are centred and facing forward. Follow any tips shown before you continue.
